LUXAR Anti Reflective Coated Glass

I have a customer with a large Lynn Davis photo where the glass has broken. I've yet to see it, but he says it is about 5' X 5'. He is asking about replacing it with Luxar Anti Reflective Coated Glass which I have never worked with.

Kwestions...

~ Does anyone know about availability in the Chicago Land area? I presume Small Corp would have it but the shipping could be a killer.

~ Is it as much a PIA to handle as it appears to be from the pdf?

I have told him that water white glass is extremely clear but offers very little UV protection. I think he got the name of the glass from the back of the piece... mm-mm, maybe Luxar has stickers just like TruVue?

It might be worthwhile to compare the specs to Optium.

It is a beautiful product, but at that size, Optium will beat it on weight, fragility, ease of handling, and the Optium will not attract dust.
