I just cancelled my reservations made thru Decor Expo at the Omni because the same room was $45 less per night thru www.cheaptickets.com.

Go figure???

My guess is that other Atlanta hotels will be less expensive online too!

Expo goers might want to look into this!!!!
 
I made my reservations yesterday at the Sheraton. My rate was $79.00 per night. I will be about 7 blocks from the Center, but they do have a shuttle. Sounds pretty good to me. Checking on-line, their regular rates are much higher.
 
Seems like we stayed at the Sheraton last year at the same rate. It is almost directly on the shuttle route and an easy walk if you want to hoof it.

I think that their parking rate has gone up 3 bucks a day but that's no real problem if you fly in and take the MARTA.

I got my flight from dc and hotel for two days for less than $300.00 online. Then a few days later it went up to $420.00. So I hope it does not go cheaper or I won't be happy.
I like to think I saved a bunch instead of jumping at the wrong time.

Hi Joel,

How'd you get the cheaper price? When I checked CheapTickets.com they wanted $199 a night. Decor only charged me $175. Another web site earlier told me there were none available for Friday night. Did I miss something? $24 a night plus tax would pay for a class.

Linda...all I did was go to the site yesterday, looked up the Omni, and the lowest listed price was $130 which is a AAA discount rate. I was also booked with Decor @ $175.

The savings will pay for one of my classes!

You have a 7 day cancellation policy with the Decor people so I guess today would be your last chance to cancel if you get the lower rate @ cheaptickets.com
