I am loving this new grumble - Thanks Framer for all your efforts - it's definitely appreciated....

I am still finding my way - but it is a fun route!!

Go to the green menu bar at the top of the page and click on 'new posts.'

(It might not be green, depending on your Windows color scheme.)

Also, go into User CP and edit your signature line to remove any HTML codes (the stuff between < and >)
 
We're all learning it together, so let's just all hold hands, proceed with reckless abandon and ask lots of questions.

We probably won't break anything.
 
CP question

I'm loving the new look, too. I've tried editing my profile in the CP, but none of the drop down windows will work for me. I can't change the date/time nor access the misc options. The only things that work are the check boxes.

But hey, I don't really need to write in color or different size anyway.
 
Please list your computer type 486 p2 p4 etc and operating system dos, 98. win31 win2k etc.

Most important your browser name and number.

Shoot framer, I don't know what any of that means.

Right now I am on an IBM ThinkPad R40 using XP Professional (does that help?) However, it also doesn't work on my Compaq desktop which is verrry old (1998) and uses Windows 98 (makes sense doesn't it?)

My internet service is Compuserve, and it uses some sort of a thing like Mozilla (whatever that is!) Sometimes, when a website doesn't load properly, I have to go over to Internet Explorer - hey, maybe that would work here, too. I will try...
 
Okey dokey - that fixed it! Nothing like having the light bulb come on, huh?
 
Signature Settings.

Where are those settings activated??

I am trying to use a break in my signature <BR> but I see that HTML is not activated.
Also, I see that some Grumblers use animated GIFs as an Avatar, where is this done?
