I am in need of a few good suppliers of moulding ... Up here in North Dakota I have Larson Juhl but would like to find other supplier that carry moulding like TC had...Any suggestions?
Thanks

Why not stay with TC? Having lived in Northern MN, I don't remember of hearing about any other suppiers in that area other than TCM or Larson.

TC is probably the best supplier I have in South Dakota. You can also use superior in Minneapolis but they are higher and have a much shorter line of moulding. Good stuff and great service from both of these Minnesota suppliers.

You might check on the WDA group. TC is part of that. I know what you mean. They have been one of our main stays for close to 30 years.

I really like TC and all the folks there have been great but I have had alot of trouble this xmas season (since October) with out of stock items. I have tried to get cc glass and rc glass since October finally got it elsewhere...just don't know what's up!!

Joni, any problems that we have had with TC (which are very few) have always been solved by working with TC. Talk to your rep or I am sure that John in his spare time
will be contacting you since he reads the grumble all of the time.

Stick with them, work with them and they will work with you.

I know!!! TC has been excellent at taking care of any problems I have had. I hope I can keep them as one of my main suppliers!!

Joni, Tim and Sharon: First of all thank you for your kind words and as both Tim and Sharon know it has been a frustrating time for our customers.

The good news is that as of last Thursday, TC Moulding was purchased and our supply problems will be solved soon! The new ownership has made the committment to eliminate our out of stock issues and to improve our ability to service our customers. I believe this will happen and you will marked improvement as soon as our orders from the vendors start to appear.

Moulding is tricky because I'm not sure which ones you are talking about specifically but I have documented on this forum before that we have had one Italian, one Brazilian, one Tai and several domestic suppliers of moulding go out of business in the last two years. That has resulted in a dramatic increase in out of stocks on mouldings.

We have replaced some with a manufacturer in Chile and the first few shipments were dicy it appears that they now have their act together.

Because of internal issues we have also had difficulty in getting our polystyrene mouldings from South Africa. These lines may still be out of stock for a while.

The good news is that we will be adding close to 1400 brand new mouldings in 2005! These offerings will be diverse and will be priced right!

Thanks everyone for sticking with us and I personally promise a much brighter future regarding our service levels in the future.
