Looking for NO rabbet compoed MDF mouldings

If it is rabbetless, then it isn't frame moulding. It is architectural moulding.

Do a Google search for Architectural mouldings.

Thybath, Welcome to the Grumble.

As a professional picture framer for over 25 years, I have never had a call for such an animal in our industry. I doubt that any other framers have had such a request as well, since we make picture frames. What type of project would you use such moulding?

By your screen name, I'm guessing you are already in the correct industry that will have what you are looking for ThyBath.
It's a "Mirror Overlay" frame that you're looking for.
I was thinking that it was Kohler that was trying out a division with so poly moulding with plinth blocks.
I thought I had a link hidden in my bag of tricks..... but the site went away.

You can always just use a moulding rabbet-to-the-outside. It's become very popular since the introduction of previsualization software.

Its Moen that is making "Mirror Scapes"

Do you have a link for a moulder or moen

I dont understand, the video says double stick tape holds the frame to the mirror, even if your mirror has mirror clips around the edges. If there are clips sticking out, how will the frame fit flush and stick to the mirror?

Baer... should you be posting so soon??

Shouldn't you be milking it for a few days longer... you know, have your wifey fluff your pillow and bring you glasses of water and such??

Welcome back!!

Thanks RParrish If you have any questions about the company that rparrish posted a link for you can contact me

So are you with the company? A few weeks ago another person from MM was posting suggestions geared towards their product? If you are don't be coy, be forthright so we know who we are dealing with.

So what are you saying Randy.... are you 'outing' the toilet guys?

Wow.... and I just thought the moderators were leaving them up so we could torment them with Kohler and American Standard.

Just so you Moen men know.... this topic was covered about 2 years ago if you care to use the search feature before you make an reflection of yourselves..... of course, then, you guys looked like idiots because you launched a product and the links went to porn sites.

Guys I've covered the search feature here many a times(Daily)

not on just this forum but every other one that I use
I'm on page 36 of google searching just moulding covered this website totally I've searched on google for case moulding, compo, compo moulding, etc etc etc. I thought maybe someone here had run into this before(I read the topic from 2 years ago) and by the way I'm not with Moen or Delta or any other faucet company. I make frames and decorative mirrors just trying to get some rabbetless moulding for a project just thought someone with alot more expertise and years of moulding searching might already have the answer I need.

The frame moulding has a channel cut in the back to account for the clips. We can alter the moulding for any mirror situation.

Wasn't trying to be coy. I do work for MirrorMate but I'm not on here trying to sell frames I'm here to learn whats going on in the industry and pick up used equipment. If I'm not supposed to inform people of our product when it applies directly to what they are looking for i won't. I've enjoyed looking through the posts and finding this site

Dstyer, I'm the one who smacked you the hardest.... only because I'm sensative to my own posts and threads getting smacked or deleted for being "a commercial", when I was only trying to help ease someones life.

That being said, there is a certain "smell" about a "newbie" starting a post on their first posting, which is answered by another 'newbie" and both are using "shadow" names with profiles that have almost zippo in information. Maybe you and thybath don't work together or even know each other.... but it still smells like 6 day old salmon in the summer sun.

If you want to be viewed as a legitimate vendor or representative, you could do a few things that would give creed and lend a bit of honesty to your Grumble "voice". None of these are required, just a strong suggestion from one pirate to another. Oh.. sorry, did I say pirate? I meant to say salesman. :D

  • Add your name and website link to your signature box.
  • Fill out your profile enough that people might know who you are, what you sell, and how you can help them. (We do frame the occasional mirror or six.
  • If you want direct email contact, put it in your profile.... if you're afraid it will generate 2 tons of spam.... get a spam/throw away account. [IE: Jaybird@hotmail.com . . . when it becomes too much of a spam magnet.. throw it away and get a new one. My current spam magnet is up to 100+/wk.... so it's going soon.]
There are several vendors and vendor reps on the Grumble and as long as people know where you are coming from (instead of acting like a shill) they respect your business and you.

Not saying your approach was wrong...... just saying there is another way.

BTW: glad to see that MirrorMate site is working properly now. It is a good product that serves a real niche and was well thought out as to the back channel.

and welcome to the grumble.

Thanks for the advice. I signed up to your site to buy a used thumbnailer which works great. I am the operations manager at mirrormate not a salesperson but we are small and any help to get the word out about our product is beneficial. I've been pushing for our company to use social networking as a marketing tool for some time now but management hasn't completely caught on. I love the posts about facebook I've been seeing here. I'd like to make more contacts in the framing industry but don't have alot of time to network as it really isn't in my job description. I will update my profile asap. in the meantime my email address is dustin@mirrormate.com. If anyone has ideas on how to use rabbitless scrap moulding 30" and less i'd love to hear it. I throw away about 6000' a month

Make 3-3/4" x 5-3/4" openings.... back with magnetic strips...... frame for 4x6 picture (snapshot) for refrigerator.
