I have a customer who is desperately searching for a print she saw many years ago.

The description she gave me was this:
The print has a man sitting on a bench, maybe with his arm across the back. The pov is from the back of the bench. It has "As ye have done unto these, the least of my brethern, ye have done unto me."

She saw it in about 1994 in a religious bookstore. It might be 24" by 16" (although I've never seen a customer get dimensions even close to correct.) From what she described, it was in "black and white" , so I'm guessing that it was a print of an old etching of some sort.
If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

This is probably not very helpful but I think that is a quote from the Bible.

There was a story written about it in "The Reader's Digest" years ago centred on "The fourth wise man" who got to Bethlehem far too late for the big event because he had been held up doing all sorts of good works for various needy people along the way.

There were and probably still are religious bookshops which run off all sorts of pictures with texts superimposed on the image and that may be her best hope. Believe me, you can waste a lot of time on these enquiries
