Actually, I'm looking for the title of a poster that has to be replaced. It is a photo of a section of the Grande Canyon taken either at dawn of nightfall. Predominately darker blues going to reds and pinks with a rocky peak in the foreground with the horizon about halfway up the photo. The image is 19" x 32".
Hoping someone may be able to help. Alan

A slight modification to the last post- please read dawn of nightfall as dawn or nightfall. Thanks- Alan

Just bring this back to the top in the hope soneone can help :D :D

Is it possibly a poster by David Noton? He did several Grand Canyon posters a few years ago. There was one about that size- long and horizontal with the sun setting, I believe. Mostly reds, pinks, sandstones, blues, purple blues.
Also, check with The Grand Canyon gift shop. I believe that they have an internet site. If not, e-mail me and I will see what I can find out for you.

Terry, I've just had a look at David Norton's photo of the Grand Canyon. I'm sorry but that ain't it but please keep trying. Thanks muchly Alan

I've checked all my catalogues, the Grand Canyon is big here in Colorado but no luck. Can you take a digital image or scan it so we could see it?

Also Alan the other day you said something about the Broncos being your team. That wouldn't be the Denver Broncos would it? Just curious.

First things first-Kathy - Broncos down here refers to the BEST RUGBY LEAGUE team in Australia. Better known as the BRISBANE BRONCOS- Down here there is a lot of inter state rivalry in the game. It used to be the best game until Big Money got involved- now it is just as polluted as anything else that Big Business gets involved in- Pity
JPete, I tried your suggestion- no luck but a mate is bringing in his digital camera and if we can work it out will post an image. Thanks for trying

Alan, I knew it was too wierd that it would be the Denver Broncos. They aren't causing much of a stir here, I can't imagine they would be any more popular Down Under.

Here is the Grand Canyon poster Alan is looking for:

Let's try and help him out. He sounds desperate!

I was going to ask what all the bubbles are about, but then I figure that is why he is desperate! I will look here, the Grand Canyon is huge here.

I have a postcard that looks a lot like this from the Grand Canyon. I will check it and my books on the canyon and see if it identifies the photographer. The Grand Canyon Gift shop also has slides of many famous views of the Canyon that can be purchased. This might be among them.
What did you mount the photo with? Is it possible to unmount it and then remount? This might be the easiest solution.

The print is Sunset, Desert View by James Thomson. We do framing for this Alaska photographer.

I have plenty in stock. Contact me personally to make arrangements and I'll ship you all you need
