Looking at underpinners

I'm looking at pneumatic under pinners..I am considering an older ITW VN4 and have a chance to buy one of the Imnes 3P at a good price. Any good /bad experiences with either?

I have a VN4 thathave used for years.

It is a well built machine.

Thanks for the response. How wide a moulding will it do? Do you recommend any of the optional equipment?

I bought the stand and the table extension when I bought the unit.

You can join profiles up to 3 1/2 to 4 inches wide. However, the longest distance of the v-nail will not be that far out.

What it doesn't do very well is join shadowbox profiles. You can only stack the nails so deep. For those I use a Thumbnail Master from C&H.
