hmmm.... if I am on the grumble and forget to logout before I close out of my aol service... when I return to the grumble - I am still logged on. Doesn't it recognize that fact - or perhaps the question is "is there a way for it to log me off automatically when I sign offline?"

Is this really a problem or is it just me!

As far as I know there is no way to log out automatically. I'm not sure why it would matter, but if it does to you then you'll have to remember to do it each time.

When something unexpected happens, blame the cookies.

You used to be able to choose whether to have The Grumble log you in automatically each time you opened the forum. Now you stay logged in until you manually log out.

The only time that's likely to be a problem is when you have multiple Grumblers using the same computer. If the last user fails to log off, the next user may accidently post under the wrong user name. That used to happen sometimes when my daughter, The Digital Diva, and I used the same computer. People wondered why I talked like a 14-year-old girl.
