Pete is framed

Started with blue mats, but then I thought of something. Fiance works for Rupp Arena / home of UK Basketball. EVERYTHING there is blue. Her office is blue and gray.. So I started looking for something different.

Top mat is Renascence Gold and it is a perfect match for his eyes!

Frame is Nielsen 117 in Indigo.

Bottom mat and frame match and they match kitty
He is actually a few shades of blue.

Foot prints match the chair. In person they are the identical color. Flash washed some things out, but in person all the colors match up nice.

One more thing about kitty prints - a few on the picture here look like blobs. In person they did fine - you can see the raised up area on the outside of the paw's pads and the ligher areas in the middle, etc and it looks good in person.

Paw prints on bottom right to balance out the picture since the chair was so 'heavy'.

Thank you to everyone for the suggestions.

Note:...I went to Michaels for the acrylic...forgive me...but 68 cents a bottle I could not pass it up.

Good job - and hey, if those were real kitty paw prints MOST of them would be blobs - because a cat with paint (or anything, for that matter) on its paws is usually travelling at a pretty fast pace! Ask me how I know this!!!

That is very nice!
I really like the colors, great choice. That is one of my favorite design concepts, the inside mat and frame in the same colors. Beautiful job!

Likely the same reason I have a Nicholas Trudgian print with a dirt paw print in the border under a mat...

I am thinking about doing one up for a display in the shop / basement
I was happy with it.

Glad everyone likes it
