I'm having difficulty comming up with the correct terminology here. I need a liner to extend over the edge of the painting by at least 1/2". Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Hi Terri ...like Patrick said, you could use a large fillet panel ...LJ has a number of them like #'s 204873, 198745, 204875 and 201847. Many other moulding companies have extra wide fillets too.

You could also just use a primed wood panel and paint it or cover it with linen or any other fabric. I have a gold leafed panel I often use too that I bought years ago from Eric Schuster.

Good luck!

A table saw in a shop can eliminate so many problems. It would fix this problem in the time it took to post it. Which is what I would do, widen the rabbit on any liner you desire.

Carry on.

Thanks guys, LJ doesn't sell to me and the table saw is a little outta my league now. Baer, I'll order sample swatches tomorrow. By the way what is Cascade and Durango, I'll bet Durango is suede but Cascade?

Cascade are bright strong colors in an economical cotton @ $4/yd.

Durange is like an ultra suede

and Sedona is a manmade weathered leather that doesn't Newton ring. Comes in 12 "slap 'em on the the rear, and drive 'em into town" colors that will definately get yer "cowboy" up. :D

Remember to mention me to Frank or Moi... and tell Frank he needs to post a photo of Paul's cowboy belt buckle shadow box. :D

Baer, just talked to those nice folks and am getting the linen swatches soon, gave Moi your greetings and will ask about the belt buckle shadow box when I order. I'm feeling sooo like a "real framer" today, ordered 20 frames, swatches, and other sundry items, yep ahm gittin along lil doggie
