The Lunder Conservation Center held a one day symposium on March 1, 2013 on the use of LED lighting in museum collections. The symposium included a series of presentations from museum and lighting specialists. Videos of the presentations are here:

05, thanks for posting this! Very interesting. I've outfitted my gallery area with about 50 LED's over the last 8 months as the halogens have died, and have been very happy with the LED results. I'm actually happy each time a halogen dies, as I get to replace it with a more efficient bulb that lowers the bills but looks very similar.
