Leather covered mat

Next question. What would be the best adhesive to use to cover mat board with leather or would you use a flat wood liner like those from Raphael's?

most leather products manufacturers use contact adhesive. Both surfaces are coated and then pressed together when dry. The same process that is used for Formica style laminates.
