I was in a pinch for a deadline and had to improvise!!
I was working with LJ313136 which is a very narrow frame (but deep like I needed) and the package was extending out the back as I used 3 mats and spacers to take the viewer into a canyon photo - came out really nice btw. BUT... the z-clips although the right depth stuck out beyond the edge of the moulding. What was I going to do? EEE. I looked at what I had on hand and wound up using channel spacer (didn't have enough rabbet space) - and it worked out great! Mitred the corners, screwed on the back and used the self-adhesive to apply the dust cover. The rabbet space would have been too wide for the moulding as well.
