I would like to drymount an 8x10 piece of paper with a laser printed poem in my Seal 500-TX. I do not want the lettering to turn "shiny" by the heat. Anyone know the maximum temp. I can use to drymount something that is laser printed without ruining it? Any information appreciated.

Hard to tell since there are so many types of inks (dyes vs. pigments, etc.) and papers they may be used on. Some combinations of inks on some papers are ok, some papers are ok but not the ink, it goes on and on and it seems like it's a crap shoot.

Generally you're pretty safe (lots of weasel words there) with something like SpeedMount. About 150 degrees and 45 seconds in your Seal should do the job.

To be completely safe avoid heat altogether and use something like Perfect Mount, a self-adhesive board that requires no heat at all. Pretty easy on something that size.

use perfect mount----NO heat!!!!!!!!! great adhesion!!!!!
