KY/TN Chapter meeting Sunday Nov 12

For all those who wanted to learn fabric wrapping and frame finish altering, Sunday is your day! (And I do mean ALL day!)

The meeting will be held at SouthStar Moulding in Nashville, TN, on Sunday November 12.

Beginning at 9:00 am Linda Wassell will be doing a class titled, "Customizing Your Custom Frames" with hands on learning about compo ornaments and altered finishes.

11:30 lunch will be provided by SouthStar. During lunch the winners of the Print and Open competitions will be announced as well as the results of our Board elections.

Then at 1:00pm Baer Charlton will be teaching Fabric Wrapping.

It's sure to be a fun day!

We need to have a final head count by Thursday.

Sounds like a great way to spend a Sunday if you ask me!!

Fabric wrapped mats for the inside of the package and finishes and treatments for the outside of the package, you have most of the bases covered with the possible exception of what goes into the mat opening but then there wouldn't be any surprises to framing, would there???

Now if you were cooking greens and beans for SouthStar for lunch, I would give some serious thought to making the drive just for the good food!! Throw in coarse grit cornbread and some pecan pie and I will hitch hike to Nashville!!!
