Hi experts, looking for your tips. I am moving into a new location. What are some of your items you have to have for retail sales, a must in every frame shop. What is your #1 easy seller. Also, I can't get my kraft paper to look perfect on back of frame. Is the kraft paper too cheap, or what. It just doesn't seem to be stretched without wrinkles and air pockets. What is a girl to do. Also, what is best glass cleaner for conservation glass. Thanks, suzy.

I do well with photo frames, but they have to be what cannot be found in department stores. Tru-vue puts out a glass cleaner especially for conservation products. Please don't use brown kraft paper to finish the backs of your frames. I use the blue buffered on most of my work, or at the very least black kraft paper. The brown is used only for wrapping. If you insist on using brown kraft, make sure it is 50 pound paper. If you want to take the time to lightly spray it with water and use a blow dryer on it, that should make it tighter. I would rather spend the money on better paper and save the time.

Have a look in The Grumble archives for a thread called Sealed Frame Pagkage?.

Sorry I don't know how to set up the link
