I'm told that what I usually buy has 700 ft. (not yards) on a roll (36").

Do any of you have a source that has more length to a roll?

LJ's catalog doesn't state the length.

I would guess 700' looks about right though.

Not sure Sherry. Just glad this isn't another thread about how to attach, trim, or what color we use.

Seriously, most of the time I have seen it measured in weight. I think the rolls I buy are 50lb.

(And, yes, I know this is a useless post) ;-)

Hey Mec, I have a 428 step procedure that takes hours to install backing paper. Sure its alot of work but 2 customer have bragged on it so far. Sometime when you have half an afternoon, I'll walk you through the install.

I have a new roll of black kraft from LJ I'm just opening up. I'll set aside the rest of the day to unroll it in the parking lot and measure it.

and just WHAT does 36X1000' weigh?????? very definitely need a roll holder(one beefy enough to HOLD it over the long haul!)

The weight refers to how heavy the paper is, not the weight of the roll unless by coincidence.
