This is fine for single PC shops/homes, but keep in mind that the " Kaspersky Internet Security" suite will block drive and printer sharing by default, and include an extra an unnecessary firewall for shops with multiple pc's behind a router. it can be configured to allow sharing, but not with the default settings. The same applies to the 'suite' products from other companies such as Mcafee and Norton. A lot of people install these and wonder why their POS workstations can no longer talk with the server :)

The basic "Kaspersky AntiVirus" should be fine out of the box, and is what I usually recommend. LifeSaver user will have to change a setting in Kaspersky, which is outlined in the Tips and Tricks document. (and on the LS website)

But in any case, good deal!
Mike

Mike, I have this and have not had any issues with printer sharing.

Here is another freebie, for a 3 PC license of the basic version. This is the version I usually recommend, because it doesn't have an additional firewall that can sometimes block sharing by default. It is also faster.

I'm going to buy a couple of these for our shop and home pc's and keep them aside for when our current ones expire (end of July) The countdown timer doesn't start until you install it on the first machine. The 3 licenses will all expire the same day, a year from the date the (common) license # is first used.

Best regards,
Mike
