or just stupid?

Larson Juhl 3" silver Academie

first frame; touched frame with ATG and pulled off silver.

second frame; got together frame, noticed defect.

third frame; ATGed frame again

Oh! Poor Less. Hope you have More luck with the next attempt. You know what they say about Karma - I say the same about ATG and leafed frames.
 
There must be something in the air. I have had theree flubs today so far. Two frames made too large had to cut down and one with a bad leg after assy. Had to take apart and replace one leg. Oh did I mention the 2 mats I cut wrong, I guess thats 5 flub-ups. Definatley something in the air!!!!!!!

I learned long ago as a framer that trouble comes in threes. If you don't gots triple trouble, you're lucky or not working hard enough.
 
Oh, ya - Less: if you didn't know it, the Academie line is made in China.

Something is up with that finish. I accidentally got a bit of masking tape on it and it pulled the finish right off. That finish has never been that sensitive before. I got the corner sample and laid a big piece of masking tape on it and even burnished it a bit with my fingernail and the finish didn't lift off when I pulled the tape off. So, they have changed something....
 
Kathy: I think it happened to me two years ago - I'll check with my staff to see if I'm right.

It obviously has nothing to do with stupidity. What we have in this situation is 100% Karma, the framing Gods are clearly out to get you for who knows what reason.

It could be something you did recently that caused them to take offense, which would mean that they are simply sending you a temporary message to never do that again, or, and this is much more serious, it could be due to something you did in a previous life. If that is the case, expect them to keep heaping their vengeance on you as you blunder through you current existence.

I must admit though, for my own part, even though I believed in reincarnation in my last life, I do not believe in it in this life.

That being said, it could be that you are simply having problems with attention deficit disorder, your mind wanders when it should be focused on the task at hand.

For a small monthly donation of several hundred dollars, I will be more than happy to analyze your predicament further. Remember, it has nothing to do with stupidity.
