So this has nothing to do with anything....I just like it. I moved my store earlier this year and as it turned out one could see the back door from the showroom. The door was nasty, as it opens into the alley, so I decided to use another master piece of art to help out my sad little logo.

I hope you all enjoy

(my official registered logo is from the 'creation' pic and is my avatar)

I couldn't get the larger, rotatable version to upload but I think you get the idea.

also, if this needs to be moved to some less businessy place, go ahead it don't make me no nevermind.

Merry Christmas

That looks interesting. Do you think you could maybe turn it right side up? If not, I can tip my head sideways just fine.

the medium size allowed me to rotate it.

if you look really close you can see me and dannyboy and a couple other former employees in the picture stuck in the door frame on the left side.

You mean that itty bitty teeny tiny one pinned against the door frame? Even my eyes aren't that good! (LOL......although as big as Baer seems to be able to blow these pictures up to, he'll probably have us counting the pores of your skin before this thread is over.)

Thanks for posting this, Dave. It's a fun, creative advertisement.

Nice door frame...good job, though I don't think Michaelangelo would have used oak...still a nice look.

My basement door/workroom door is covered with corner samples, when closed you wouldn't know a door was there.

A local museum hides an elevator with a huge framed portrait that swings open, very kewl.

Wally beat me to it. VERY nice trim-out. But actually during Mickey's time, oak was abundant and widely use . . . which is why it's not abundant in the EU now.

Romans made all of their Chariots and spokes for wheels out of the tuff stuff.
Elm was used for hubs because it's impossible for it to split; and Olive was already taken by Popeye.

The use of a full door poster is one of the coolest ideas I have seen in a long time Dave. We need to talk.

I think the sign is hung to low..............................:D  LOL
Awesome idea!!

the trim was left over from the move, so i used what i had. a friend with a printer made the canvas print for me and, blackiris, originally the frame was smaller and showed a little outer thigh, I thought that would be a bit much for all the moms i get in here. baer, i'm not sure what we need to talk about but drop a line.

thanks for the kind words.
