Richard Darling
SGF, Supreme Grumble Framer
I happened upon the Grumble 3 years ago. I was 6 months into my new framing/gallery business, and had a piece of equipment to sell. I found the Grumble's "for sale" section. But in the process, I found a source of assistance that has made a huge difference in my business.
I'm grateful for the technical assistance from people like Jim Miller, Hugh Phibbs, Baer Charlton, Rebecca and others I'm sure I've missed.
I'm equally thankful for the business savvy of Bob Carter, Paul Cascio, Kirstie (last name is escaping me, plus you don't use it on your posts) and again, many others.
And where would I be without the IT advice from Mike Labbe (who also just recently gave a buggy PC a makeover, improving its performance remarkably). And naturally, I must thank Bill, who dreamed up this Grumble thing who knows how many years ago, and has nurtured the development of the premier source of networking for framers.
Plus there's been huge amounts of no-nonsense advice from the likes of Jeff Rodier, Buddy, Jay H., and Dave. It's also been nice to know that my birthday would never slip by Danny Boy.
The amount of help I've received from Grumblers has been so vast that naming all the sources over the last 3 years would be virtually impossible. But to all those above, and those unnamed who have been a part of the steady stream of assistance and advice, my deepest gratitude.
This summer I bought a second frame shop/gallery, something I would have never had the knowledge and confidence to do had it not been for the years of input I've received. So on my 1,000 postiversary, thank you to all who have participated here and enriched my life and business.
