What was the name of the acid free tape that you recommened for use with Mylar-D.

By the way, I did use your suggestion on that 60 year old print with 1" mats. I used the Mylar D instead of corners. It worked great. I didn't get it back to redo so I guess the customer was okay with it. :D

I took a class with Jim in June. At the time, he recommended 3m's #888 and #889 (double coated tape)for use with mylar.

Very good, "What?" That is correct.

These 3M tapes are recommended because they, like the clear films, are made of inert polyester. Also, they are very thin and have a non-migrating, acid free, chemically-stable acrylic adhesive.
