Has anyone ever had the wheel on their iPod stop working properly? Gary's isn't responding right. He can turn it on but when he tries to go between things, he can only get it to move in one direction and it's very sluggish. He's had it for a little over a year and a half and uses it all the time, so he's not a happy camper right now!

I'll take a try. Is it possible it got a little wet? If so, it'll probably be in ok a couple days. Those things are notoriously buggy, and sometimes a RESET/REBOOT clears up issues. (Method depends on what model)

For many of the older models(nano, mini, color), you held the CENTER and MENU buttons together for about 8 seconds. For the VERY first ones, I think you had to hold PLAY and MENU for about 8 seconds.

Synching it up with the PC afterwards is probably a good idea, too.
