Warning to others: Don't test this yourself. Perhaps there's something malicious buried in an old page. This one's for the GURU'S.

Sometimes (today when I was searching and was on this page: http://www.thegrumble.com/showthread.php?t=37527&highlight=with+no+blue and hit "next"), my Maleware bytes says it has blocked the IP address "66.235.126.52" and says it can be malicious....but my search goes on through just fine and the page loads.

When I look for that IP address, among the pages that are hosted are "smiley central" type ones. Does this mean that if we post a picture (like an animated smiley) from an external page from the G that if someone viewed it, they could get hijacked if they didn't have protection in place?

Maleware bytes gives a block notice every time I hit the "next" page.

It's the only page I have open in my browser...and I have only one tab open...but the page continues to load.

What would cause this?

It's probably the Smiley's (smiley.smiley central.com) reference someone (dougj) put in their sig..

Yea some programs identify SMILEY CENTRAL as spyware. It spreads itself through instant messages, emails, etc. It may also install several other programs, without asking. It slows down the pc quite a bit. It's a bit controversial.

FUN WEB PRODUCTS is the name of the package.
