Hi Maria
Thanks for response
Appreciate that I might be the second most technology-challenged person on planet Earth (I'm claiming 2nd place on the hope that someone else might be more-perhaps a mud hut in Zambia)
I found Etsy easy and intuitive. Artfire not so much. They had a weekend failure that slowed down setting up, followed by locking out the name I originally used. Then, filled all step-by-step entries but couldn't post an item for sale. Contacted Help! desk (exclamation point mine) twice with no follow up. Guys like me require a lot of hand holding LOL.
Everyone appears universal on opinion of eBay. however, I might look at setting up a store for a trial run. Obviously, some people find it favorable. Also looking for any venue and have had a few 'less-than-expected' results. not sure what demo is target, so i'll keep trying lol
Reminds me of the example of the shoe salesperson assessing the 'market' where no one wore shoes. i might have responded 'Great opportunity-no one wears shoes. Must check demographics to see if disposable income in market can afford my shoes. Perhaps a low-end "WalMart" product might be great 'introduction' launch.'
Keep looking for new markets-just trying to find that magic demo. Kind of like kissing a bunch of frogettes looking for that Princess. Need fresh stick of Orbits LOL
i did have a fellow Grumbler (now, two) that didn't have much success. just hoping for any other venues
I think Etsy is a low cost, easy option to internet sales that most framers might find useful. I joined a team and have seen some huge success stories. Me? I keep refining my 'special sauce' mix. Seem to have about 9 of the secret ingredients but still missing 3 or 4
I appreciate the suggestion(s)
