Thought a few might find this of interest.

framer

Wow, Russia, Croatia, and Poland were real surprises to me!! I simply didn't imagine that there was enough interest in our trade to generate that many hits from those particular countries.

I understand China because of the increase in trade with that country and the amount of moulding that is now manufactured in that country but the other countries were not on my mind for framing interest.

Keep in mind some of those may be hackers or spammers, too. Many countries are known for that kind of activity, because the laws aren't as strict.

One thing is for sure, we have a great and diverse family!!!

Malaysia in the Top 10 List??

surprise to know that Malaysia is in the Top Ten list??!! We even cant have the LJ's interest to invest here....so, what are these Malaysian log in framer do inside the G?....

I thought I am the only one who is care about my framing `career'...:D
I believe only the wood moulding manufacturers from Malaysia would interested in north America framer's forum. They just keen about $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and see what you are talking here!!! :D

How so?? Don't people in Russia, etc still need custom framing?

Well, you would not know this as you are quite new to the forum, but I have been on the Grumble since 2001 and have seen and read posts from virtually everyone who has attempted to post even a single post here, and I don't recall seeing anyone from those countries asking questions or posting any ideas on any of the forums here. That was the basis for my surprise, not anything other than that. If it sounded like I was inferring anything else I apologize for the misunderstanding but I wasn't trying to make an issue of those particular countries, I can assure you.

I am quite positive that those peoples' valued treasures are in need of someone's custom framing expertise just as anyone's are.

No border community...

I don't recall seeing anyone from those countries asking questions or posting any ideas on any of the forums here.

Tom, I agree with you. At least write something as you have see others posting...!! I dont write proper and good English...but all the grumblers still try `hard' to listen and giving their feedback. ...just like a family!!:icon21:

Didn't mean to call you out there, Tom! lol :)

yea, I would imagine that the language barrier may be an imtimidation factor for some folks

missing keyboard!

I think most probably they dont have a keyboard installed with their system. I will call a freind working with DELL today if their marketing team have sent any sales team to these countries... :smileyshot22:

Statistics like that amaze me. Below are the numbers for my blog (as of today.)

The tracker I use allows me to see what search terms they're using to find us. (Some of the phrases would break your heart! But then, like I've stated before - almost every search from Central or South America are from a search on my name...)

Bill, do you know what search words are used to find this forum?

I can understand Malaysia, we have khooengtheng there. The one that got me was:

Seems Big Brother is watching us!

With over 20 million employees and not all that much for them to do, you bet, they are watching everyone. I'll bet the porn sites get more government hits than The Grumble. For security purposes only, I am sure.

You would be surprised how many sites the government will not allow its users to go to. As the Information Assurance Secruirty Officer (which means I know how to turn on a cpu) of my unit I get emails from "Big Brother" (DOIM) all the time telling me what sites are blocked and why. I have to use my wireless connection to surf the web during the day and to get on the Grumble. I can't even check my Yahoo account from my gov't cpu.
