That would pander to my deeply entrenched tendency to let tons of little stuff accumulate on my work surfaces. Gotta fight that, just say NO!

What if something sharp rolls under your frame when you are working on the back?

Actually I could have used them yesterday. Had to put hangers on the back of a heavy 3-D plaque that stuck out past the frame in front. I used two lengths of 2x4 to raise it above the table surface. Fortunately the frame was solid oak. These things would be better for delicate frame finishes.
