instruction for morso chopper

1) keep clean, never oil, draw soft lead pencil all over the tracks of the twin lifts.(graphite)

2) take bites not a whole single BITE.

3) If you have a little scale that runs across the bed, that is to see what you need to be using on the "Stop", to set on the "rail"... sorry no pictures here.

4) On the first day of each year, inject a glob of grease in the grease fitting. This will push out black grease around the bushing. Wipe this excess grease [originally shot in 4-9 years ago] off and wipe until very clean.

5) Keep fingers at least 3" away from blades when the foot is near the pedal. [we don't post that kind of picture anymore... it gets Betty going... ;) and Kathy's wees get kneak. ]

6) If all else fails http://www.morso-guillotines.dk/

IMHO Always contact the mfg. first

The great majority of manufacturers are keen to help anyone using their machines, moulding or mount board.
So if you have any problem/questions I suggest always try the mfg first.
Danlist who make the Morso chopper are in Denmark, but operate worldwide. They are a superb co now run by the 4th generation.
Contact Claus Pedersen ... cp@morso-guillotines.dk
I'm sure he will help you, or direct you to his USA distributor.
Tell him the number stamped on your machine.

Please let us know how you get on.

Baer, what grease fitting, where?? Picture, please? (oops, Morso only, not the Ewwww one!)

Tech Mark will send you a manual also, and answer any questions you have, even if they sound silly (your questions, not Tech Mark). I send my blades there for sharpening. I believe they're the U.S. source. Very helpful folks there.
Tech Mark 1-507-945-9393 Jill will answer, she's great, and so is Mike, who does the sharpening.

Val, there is only one "pivot axel"... the lube nipple [oh man, now I know I'm going to hear about that from Steph :p] is really obvious and about centered. If you don't see it, you have one of the new fangled "greaseless"...... I always put "greaseless" up there with "one size fits all". :help: And trust me; you don't EVEN want to see THAT picture.:icon11:
