Information on artist needed

One of my good customers brought in these two etchings. They look quite old and were in desperate need of re-framing.
He does not know anything about them and neither of us can decipher the signature.

Any input welcome!

I couldn't see it, either. I noticed that another one was called a 'nautical etching', so did an image search for that. (I know the term nautical, but hadn't thought of it.)
From looking at the signature on my own, I had thought it was G A Aulong. Guess I'll never be a writing detective, lol...

My customer was extremely pleased with finding out the name. He is now thinking about collecting them (and I will get to frame more). All good!
