Greetings to the Grumble community! My name is Blake Steffy and I work for PAM Fastening Technology. For years we at PAM have been aware of the wonderful community of framing artists that gather here on The Grumble. After lurking around for some time now, I figured I would create a handle so that I could help inform fellow Grumblers about the framing products we offer.

As a long time message board user myself, I can assure you that there will be no spamming or unneccessary advertising on PAM Fastening's behalf here on The Grumble. I am simply here to both help educate and also learn from the Grumble community

PAM has been a distributor of Frame Assembly equipt for nearly 20 years. We offer a full line of joiners and saws from Italian manufacturer Brevetti, and Brazilian manufacturer Inmes. We look forward to serving The Grumble community!

Oh, and any Grumbler's coming to ATL for the Decor Expo, stop by our booth and say hello!

I have a few regrets since opening my store a few years back.

My biggest regret is that I purchased my INMES saw through framingsupplies.com instead of Pamfast.com.

I talked to both companies and FS was a bit cheaper until they tried to reneg on the quoted price.

Pamfast discussed the saw with me and what they do to it before shipping.

I think overall they both would have been about equal on price but I think I would have received much better customer service through pamfast.com.

Lesson learned, the (perceived) cheapest price isn't always the best.

Welcome to the G Pamfast!

Bob

I've used both their Brevetti and Inmes saws, as well as the IM 5P underpinner. All of them are great machines and the support from Pam has been fantastic.

Tell the Kens I said hello.

And no, I do not receive any compensation from Pam whatsoever.

Hi Blake, Welcome to the G. I'll have a kwestion for you shortly. I just sold my Brevetti saw and would like to see if there is a manual available for the person who bought it. In particular some of the safety features were disabled before I purchased it used and I would like him to have the option to re-able them if he desires. I don't have a clue how to correct these issues. I'd just like him to know of the possibilities.

The one thing I feel sad about is selling my Brevetti. The best purchase I ever made.

No problem.. I would be able to email you a digital copy of a manual, if that would suffice. I'm sure I can also dig up a hard copy if needed. In regards to the safety features, one of our tech guys would be glad to assist you. Give us a call at 1-800-699-2674 and ask for Ken Canup. Tell him what you're trying to do and he'll walk you through the steps.

Also, thanks to everyone else for the warm welcomes!
