Geese! Looks bad.

What's the speed limit there?

bet they won't do that again....that looks really bad, what kind of suv is that?

We are a major hwy with 55mph limits and we see lots of wrecks around here.....people mostly texting or on the phone while driving and don't see the lights change. Was this guy trying to outrun the law or what???

If the accident is bad enough to pop the engine out of the car, I would imagine it would be fatal! Was he drunk? Racing someone?

Just driving too fast, then swerved to miss car, lost control of his F250

Sad outcome of an accident.

What is real scary is that a vehicle could break up like that at 90mph, regardless of the speed limit.

I know a bit of physics, and this doesn't surprise me one bit. Kinetic energy goes up as the *square* of the velocity. A truck going at 90mph has nearly seven times the kinetic energy of one going 35mph. When such a vehicle comes to rest in an uncontrolled fashion, all that energy has to go somewhere... in this case it went into tearing the thing apart.

It was one mighty crash!

The tailgate ended up a full block from the scene!

Middle aged guy, Colorado plates.

That is truly scary! Luckily no other people were killed (can you imagine just being there on the sidewalk).

I guess he must have been suicidal. No way to do 90 mph in this kind of zone. I see them do that on the highway. And talking and texting at the same time.

Wow Andrew, that looks ugly. It is good to hear he only harmed himself, usually they end up taking some innocent person with them. Pretty sobering pictures.

Is that light pole made out of Titanium, or what? Can't believe it's still standing. Maybe it came from the other side of the street...
