Of course this happens on Saturday when I can't get ahold of anyone. My Wizard was cutting and then all of a sudden there was a popping sound and air started spewing out the left edge where the matboard is mounted for cutting. Any ideas as to what has happened and/or how to fix this problem????

Yep. One of the little pipes (bladders) that provide clamping pressure has blown.

There are two, one vertical and one horizontal. You can clamp off the air hose to the one that's blown (behind the board) and carry on using the CMC till you can get a replacement from Wizard. Replacing it is easy.

Sounds like the tube (not sure what to call it) that holds the matboard has busted.

There is a small rubber tube on the left side and on the bottom of the cutting board.

This tube is located under the metal strip

Look at your Wizard hardware book.

It could also be the bladder itself, but the fix is the same :) (disable that clamp/bladder temporarily)

A local shop had the same issue a couple years ago, because they were using a letter opener to clean out the fallout scraps from their lower clamp. In their case, they punctured the bladder assembly.

Which model do you have?
It is an easey fix...not major.

Thanks all!!! You guys are the best!!! We were able to do the temporary fix.

I have had this happen a few times over the years. Usually the week before Christmas or a weekend or some other time when I need it most. Since I keep at least one of each replacement part for the wizard on hand, so I dont have to wait for wizard to send me a new one.

Yep, we also keep replacement parts on hand fro the Wizard. I would advise all CMC owners to do this.
