I don't even know if anyone remembers me but I'm back either way. I was know as A.K.A. Mrs. Audrey since Audrey Levins posted more than I ever did, but none the less, I'm back. For those of you who do remember, i.e. Charles, etc., Audrey is doing great and so am I. I just reopened a custom framing business in San Antonio, Texas and things are looking up. I'm only doing commercial right now and things are good for now. For the last four years I've been waiting for the right time to re-open my frame shop and the only thing I have learned is there will never be a perfect time. I've been bartending this whole time and all I have become is older. The money is the temptress that keeps you coming back and I have chosen to fight her power and come back to what I love, Framing. I've been following the Grumble for the last four years and eveyone here is the fuel I needed to re-open my frame shop. You all give me the courage to do what I always loved and should be doing for the rest of my life. You all made it through 911 and all that came with it and I am proud of all of you for that. I really mean that. If it were not for you, I would have sold all my equiptment and never looked back. I'm glad to be in the trenches with you again. Even though I have never met any of you, I feel we all have the same dreams and passions, and that gives us all the power to unify and grow as a group. The road we have chosen can be quite a bear at times but I want to learn from you as much as I want to share my small victories with you. This is my first post in at least four years but I promise it won't be my last. I just wanted to say hello to the people I've yet to meet and the how's it going to the ones I've meet before.

May your frames be cut to fit and your mats be free of dust.

Greetings for the Alamo City. Howdy Ya'll. Rick Colunga. Archivist Inc. San Antonio, Texas.

Good to hear from you Rick, I hope you do well. It's so exciting to open a shop and be working at what you really love to do.

Hi, Rick, welcome back to the realm of posting and that of self-employment!
Will Audrey be putting her dusty framing skills to work in your new business?

Hey Rick - are you from Galveston? My brother's best friend in high school was named Rick Colunga.

Hay! Hello!!
Welcome--looking forward to seeing you around!
Your post dang near brought tears to my eyes!
Think we all feel that way, thats why we do what we do!

And do it very well......

Happy Framing!

Thanks everyone, it's nice to be remembered. Yes, I'm very happy to be working towards something bigger than next weeks schedule.

IMCNEEL, No I'm from Corpus Christi, Texas, but it's cool knowing has the same name as me.

Framing Godess, Audrey is doing fine and will be helping when she can at the shop but is working on becoming a professional photographer. It's something she's always wanted to do and feels shes ready to take on clients. Shes still afraid of wedding photography since she hasn't done one yet but her web site is up and looks great. Go check it out and you can get to see what she actually looks like and what her real name. Her photo is on the contact page. Here's the link. <a href=http:"//www.m3photography.net/">M3 Photography.net</a>
She is still bartending, somebody has to keep the lights on and she's taking on that job. Her photography is kind of touch and go right now so she still can schedule any business around her bar shifts.

Again, I just wanted to chime in and say hi to everyone and let everyone know I'll be puttiing to half cent in where I can.

Thank all of you, you all give me the courage to do this. Saftey in numbers, don't you think?
