I just found out that the supplier that they used for the natural woods closed suddenly and they have switched suppliers. The new supplier is not matching the color of some of the stains that they previously used and as I just found out the Toasted Oak looks more like the Carmel, not close at all.

InLine will be notifying customers when the new catalog comes out, no word on when that is though. New samples of the colors will not be made or sent out.

Just an FYI if you place an order, make sure to verify that the color that you are ordering is actually the color that you want.

***This is not intended to be bashing the company, they are working with me to solve the problem***

guess that is why Less didn't get any woods with his sample set

I just spoke with Tim. I appreciate him bringing this up so we can clarify any confusion out there about InLine Ovals and our oak frames.

Up until 2010 we had had two shades of Toasted Oak. #300 was a lighter shade of Toasted Oak than the #100 & #200. Having 2 shades of the same color created much confusion for our customers. In 2010 we addressed this issue by bringing all oak frame manufacturing into one location. At that time the Toasted Oak finishes were merged into one shade, and there is now only one Toasted Oak finish for all our 100, 200 and 300 Series frames.

This change took place 3 years ago in early 2010, and there were no other changes in our oak colors. All InLine Ovals frames are manufactured in-house, and there have been no changes to any of our processes since that time.

Anyone who has an old 100, 200 or 300 Toasted Oak can request a replacement sample. A new catalog will be available in February 2013 showing these changes along with several new profiles, finishes, and deep shadowboxes.

As with all our frames, we will customize, darken, lighten or adjust in other ways as needed. We will be doing this for Tim's situation and we will do a better job of clarifying this with each Toasted Oak order in the future.

If anyone needs clarification or further information, please contact me directly.

Thanks,
Jamie McMahon
