After many wiring challenges, we have finally installed Integrated Framer and like everything about it.

One of our first trials was with a customer who had a print that was rolled very tightly. The regular weights that we have been using encroached on the image, so I am trying to come up with an alternative. I have cut some small pieces of glass and filed the edges, but I am a little nervous about resting glass on artwork.

Any Suggestions?
 
I don't have them here, but a couple of shops I've worked in had nice long strips of acrylic - about 3" x 32" x 1/4" or more thick, with rounded corners and polished edges. I think those would be ideal. They had a hole drilled for hanging, too.

In fact I'll try and find a source, as I should have IF up and running next week some time.
