All right XP gurus, someone goofed with my settings on the shops pc and I can't seem to get it back the way I want it.
When I click on a link and it opens a new window, the new window opens as a very small box. It used to open full screen and I WANT IT TO DO IT AGAIN! It's not a big deal as much as it's just annoying.

What setting do I need to change? (I'm not going to hit restore just for this)

Hi David

This is an easy one...

Open up the seconary window from a link, manually size it as you please, and hold the Shift key down while clicking the window's Close button.

The next time it will remember.

Thanks Mike,
I knew that one, it worked in IE5 but still doesn't work on this particular version for some reason. (Tried it multiple times Arrrgh!)
Any other thoughts?

Are you using the mouse to drag the window borders to maximum before you hold the shift key or are you using the maximize button?

The former works. The latter doesn't.

nope, dragging it out with the moose...er mouse.

I checked into this a bit further. Apparently XP SP2 has a small bug where it doesnt always work. Try closing the original window so the small one is the last one open, then repeat the above.

If that doesnt work, here are about a half dozen other solutions:

Have a super weekend. Let us know if it works.

Mike,
Thank you for taking the time to look into my goofy little problem, closing the first window did the trick.
I knew it was an easy fix, just couldn't remember what the order was.
