I just wanted to share the good news with everyone here. I entered this years Framerica Boxer challenge (take this job and frame it). I couldn't believe my good fortune at winning 1st place. The shadowbox I entered housed cameras dating from the 40's to present day, various photos, a dvd player housed in the lens (the lens is comprised of 2 16 sided circles made of us91273, a working digital camera on the front and a evf (electronic view finder) on the back in its own mini shadowbox. Please stop by http://saycheeseshadowbox.homestead.com and take a look. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Welcome to the Grumble, Michael - what a first post!!!

Would love to see more photos of your creation - it is simply amazing!!!

Congratulations!

Framar, I'll post some new photos to my site on sunday. My father in law took alot of photos at the Decor show and will be in town with his camera. I can't belive I've never been to this news group before, it's great. I've been a framer for the last 17 years and I can't imagine the number of times I could have used this site as a resource. Better late than never.

Michael, from the looks of your winning piece, I do believe you will be answering a lot of kwestions here on the Grumble!

How did you finally find us, BTW???

Awesome Frame

Welcome to the Grumble, Michael and congratulations on your 1st place finish. What a truly awesome frame

I look forward to hearing more from you and I agree with Framar that you'll probably be answering more questions than asking.

Michael.
Well done. Well done.

We are glad to have you here on the Grumble. I am looking forward to your promise of additional pictures...

Far out, Michael! And welcome to the Grumble!

Looking forward to more posts from you.

I'd like to thank everyone for all the great comments and for taking the time to look at the webpage associated with the shadow box. Sorry I haven't posted untill now but I've been trying to get over a 102 degree fever that's kind of sapped me. I promise I'll post some more photos of my project. I've just upgraded my web site to 100 megs so there's now plenty of room. The old address should still work but the new one is www.saycheeseshadowbox.com Thanks again for all of the interest.

P.S. Framar I found this site using a google search for Picture Framing and News groups.
