This is very helpful.

This isn't....
Looks like it might be a Larson Ghoul
Ba dum tssshhh...
... I'll just let myself out...
This isn't "Warped", this is the "Grumble".
Someone asking for help really isn't looking for humor.

Erin, do you know how old that frame might be? 70's, 80's, 90's, etc....

Aww, Im always open for a chuckle Neil, but thanks :)

As for the people in the picture, I just know they're in the great great great category of relations.. I am thinking early 1900s, at least for the photo.

Its such a pretty thing, I kinda wish she was reframing it so I could've snag it. ;)

I'm not sure why, but I was thinking Burnes Of Boston.
I don't see anything like that in their current catalogue, though.

I'll pm Bron to check it out and see if he knows.

I get the feeling it may have been pretty standard for its day, and not something ultra special at the time. Today, however, you would need a Bron, a Baer, or similar talented maker of one-off custom frames to reproduce it. ...Unless you have the facility, facilities, and inclination to try it yourself.
 Rick

If it looks like 1890 for the frame - then it is probably the newer
Rumpfords.

If it looks kind of plasticy and 1960s.... Meyer.

The compo design is common... the burl looks paint. For current day....
I would say Prism-Studios.org.

Bron came and looked, but he didn't recognize it. Do you know anything at all about where it was first framed?
