Hows this for a framing idea

I was mindlessly stumbling (stumbleupon.com is a terrific time waster) the web earlier and came across this picture :

If I still had a storefront I think I would create a sample like this as a framing idea for customers (of course the top level picture would be in a frame as well).

This appears to be the same person (or his son/grandson/great-grandson) in all four images.

It wouldn't be hard to take four images and photoshop them into something like this.

Have any of you done anything like this? Good idea or not? I always used to like doing stuff like this to give folks ideas of what I could do for them.
