Just curious to see how you would treat/mount/frame a numbered print of a U2 Tour poster?

I think they are numbered by the venue at which they sell them at, so there are probably alot of them out there in one way or another.

Thanks,

Roz

Even if it's not worth anything they "think" it is.

for me ...

If it's on any kind of reasonable paper, hinge it.

If it's on crap, mount on Artcare Restore.

As for framing, depends ... I would probably start an attempt to sell it matted with some fancy v-grooves in the mat that are some form of take-off from the poster. Other things may come to mind from talking to them.

It is not one of the signed prints by their producer or the artist who did the poster to begin with????????

If they want to maintain its value, it should be
stored in the dark. Posters, with modern inke are
very light sensitive. They should keep it in the
dark and frame something else to fill that spot.

On U2.com there are some prints. May want to be sure it is not one of them. Some of them are actually hand silkscreened. THen again it may be one of the posters some **** is selling illegally outside the venue ;)

We are currently working on a couple of the silkscreens by the group's drummer, Larry Mullen. They are nice!
