I have a couple Dali etching as described ina previous posting (thanks for all the advice guys ) but have decided to finally frame them and would like some advice on which way I should mount them.
I was thinking of hinge mounting but would Artcare Restore work? Is there another method I should use? I normally only mount photography so this is a fairly new one for me. They are oin Rives paper and is 22 x 14 or so, they are in very nice shaoe and would like to do it properly. Thanks in advance you guys always do great!

The answer to your question depends on what you mean by "work"....

Yes, ArtCare Restore or KoolTack Preserve (similar products) would provide a removable mount of the entire back surface of the sheet. However, the heat-activated adhesive may leave some residue in the paper, especially if you apply to much heat or too much dwell time, either in the mounting or the removal.

No, all kinds of dry mounting would be too invasive for an item of significant value, especially if it can not be replaced. Instead, use hinges, edge supports, or another technique that is minimally invasive and known to be completely reversible with non-invasive techniques.

I used some clear plastic edge supports (can't remember the name) in framing my Dali seriograph. No adhesive touching the paper anywhere.

Of course, no one asked, how large are they and if they are being matted. If they are being matted, and they will receive sufficient support from the overmat, then I agree that corner mounts are the least invasive. However, if they are large, you may also want to include some edge strips like artSavers as well.

Don't forget to allow for expansion/contraction when using corners. I see things all the time that have buckled because the top corners are on too tightly (as well as the bottoms for left/right movement and there is no room for expansion
