HOW TO GET PICTURE INTO THE GRUMBLE

I am a computer dummy. How do I get my my picture from "MY PICTURES" file into TheGrumble???

I used to use MSN Communities to host my Grumble photos. It worked, but the process was very clumsy.

Photobucket is so quick and easy that I doubt it will remain free forever. (Don't tell them, but I'll gladly pay for it if it comes to that.)

They have an upload utility that comes so close to automating the process that I use Photobucket instead of the huge surplus of hosting space I have on my own website.
 
Another way to get pictures on The Grumble is to upload them to your e-mail server, then refer to them on the Grumble e.g. “http://home.yourservername.net/~yourusername/sillypicture.jpg”

Chances are, depending on your ISP, you will have a few MB of storage space made available to you as a “benefit” of subscribing to, say, Earthlink.

All you need in addition is an .ftp program to place them on that server. I use “Fetch” (for Macintosh), but there are lots of freebies out there for all kinds of operating systems.
