How have your results been from Decor Moulding

We are looking at the Veneer mouldings that Decor offers and want to find some "real world" reviews of the product. The questions we have are as follows
What is the quality of the sticks? (is there a lot of warpage, defects, etc)
Has it been easy to cut?
Has there been any long term problems with the moulding?
Has stocking been good? (in stock when you need it)
Any other issues or praises?
 
We use Decor rather a lot and don't have any more problems with quality or back orders than we have with anyone else (even some of the more expensive lines). Most of the profiles cut fine. We've had some problems with the more heavily gessoed styles, but that's not unusual.

Use them alot. No problems with product, out of stocks or customer service. Have a wonderful sales rep. Like their older profiles, having new styles introduced and their price!
 
A lot of my artist customers like the ability to buy directly from them. The artists like the fact they they get full color sale flyers from them by e-mail or mail and the price per foot is really cheap. The artist customers that I have who buy directly say they aren't concerned about the quality because it is just a frame after all. :shrug:

Just say you are not concerned about quality of the art because it is just wall decor after all. :icon9:

You should be aware that the boxes that their box moulding is shipped in is the cheapest asian cardboard imaginable. I stopped buying by the box from Decor and switched to another distributor for most of my mouldings because of the quality of the mouldings and the poor quality of the boxes.

The boxes that they ship length in is fine, but the boxes from overseas that box moulding is shipped in is horrible. I am in PA and the box moulding always came in terrible condition. The boxes just don't stand up to freight shipping. Getting to Colorado will be even worse.

Boxes were always damaged with moulding exposed and sometimes the entire ends of a box would be gone.

I would suggest you order a box or two to see for yourself.
