A friend of mine is trying to copyright a figure she draws and other artwork of hers.

Any idea where she should start the process?

Thanks,

Bob

Here's a link to the government office in charge of copyrights:

It's actually quite simple. The friend already possesses the copyright to her image. Filing a notice with the copyright office merely gives her greater enforcement abilities. Your friend should start putting a copyright legend on her artwork -- for example, the little c-in-a-circle image, along with the date of first creation and her name.

Perfect, exactly what she needed.

Thanks Paul.
