Hours of Operation for Good Friday and Easter Monday

Just wanted to get a feel for what others are doing for the holiday.

Normally we are open on Good Friday and Easter Monday, in the years past we've had no traffic in the store.

So this year I'm trying to decide if it's worth me being open those days or do I just take a long overdue mini break and give myself a 4 day weekend.

Would love to know what everyone else is doing.

We plan to be open normal business hours on Good Friday(4/6), the first day of Passover(4/7), and the day after Easter(4/9).

Same here.

The only days we are closed are Sundays. If they fall Monday through Saturday, we are also closed on the 4th of July, Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years. If they land on a Sunday, we're already closed that day and we don't close any extra days because of it.

Karen, do you know what the other retail in your area are doing? The importance of Good Friday and Passover probably vary more by geographic location.

If you do decide to close, based on low volume in the past, have a wonderful 4 day break. Sometimes these little breaks do wonders for our soul.

We close on Sundays and public holidays - only.

The Saturday on that weekend doesn't qualify so we'll be open that day; doesn't mean 'we' have to be there though, we have staff that can run the place - 'can' being the operative word, 'we' will be running the place whilst paying our staff not to be. Lovely!

Open seven days a week. Closed Christmas and Boxing Day, and New Year's Day.

We're also a gallery in a tourist town, so if framing is quiet, art sales hopefully pick up. Anticipating heavy traffic over Easter, so getting the gallery looking fresh, with lots of new pieces.
