While nothing all that special, I thought it came out quite well.

The title was huge on this thing and I didn't want to show that much white. I felt that a normal drop down would look out of place on this one.

Very nice Dave.Being in Kentucky I have framed that a few times but i dont think mine has ever looked that classy. The scallop definitely looks nice and your choice of frame and mats is beautiful.

Nice job Dave.

How did you do the scallops? Did you use path trace or did you start with a rectangle and ovals/circles and group them togather??

If you don't mind me asking.

Beautiful and classy.

How much extra did you charge for the title block design...
If you don't mind me asking. ;)

The shape is made up of 4 elements. All of them are single mat openings that I made into a double mat in path trace. The first opening is the main rectangle. The second is the drop down and the scallops are standard cut art in the "edge" or "edge 2" file. I find it easier to design these on their side. After I get the 4 blocks positioned and the group joined I take it to the cut screen and then to path trace. Here I just use the extend function and set the bevels. Next is back to cut.

It took longer to type this out then to do. :)
This was one of a large order $$$$ so I didn't charge anything extra. I just told them I had something in mind and that it would be a surprise. If I was to charge, it would only be $10.

A beautifully designed frame. The cut out is very elegant!
