The outskirts of Seattle were like a ghost town today as over 700,000 people flooded downtown Seattle for the parade and celebration of the Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl. Schools closed, Microsoft closed, 25% of Boeing workers came in to town, buses were filled with people looking like sardines in a can on wheels. Mt. Rainier at 14,000+ feet was clear and beautiful making for great pictures. Fly over by a 747 Boeing jumbo jet painted in Seahawk colors was amazing.
We had 3 customers, but at least we are getting stuff done that we normally do not have time for! Exciting yes, that many people for a parade, scary, but no trouble so far. This city is electrified like never before.
