Just wondering if you close your shop for the holiday weekend?

We are usually closed for Memorial day weekend
and Labor day weekend.

Open or Closed I hope everyone has a happy and healty holiday:beer:

I will be closed early (probably about 4PM) on Friday through Monday.

Do this for Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day weekends.

I'm in lake country and no one even looks at my shop on the holiday weekends as they speed to the lakes.
 
closing at 4 pm tomorrow for the weekend. Nobody shops over holiday weekends here. Available by appointment if they are serious.
 
The only legal holidays we close are July 4th and Labor Day. That marks the beginning and the end of the summer and it is a ghost town here. The other legal holidays used to be our best days of the year. The past 7-8 years have been inconsistent. A lot of our customers have vacation homes and are glad to get out of the city on a holiday weekend. We will see how this Monday pans out.
 
We're open Saturday and closed Monday for Mem. Day (Mostly 'cause I work on Monday by myself and it's supposed to be really nice outside...) -- usually we're open Mon - Sat, 10am-6pm.

Monday I will be at a town festival PAINTING rain barrels for a charity auction.....:D FUN FUN FUN.....working on my TAN!
 
From experience...Memorial Day around here is dead. Everyone's camping.

Closing early on Friday and opening on Tuesday.

Are any of you cooking something special on the grill? Think I"ll have a braii, grilling up some boerwurst and steak. Might have a South African red wine to go with it.

Open Saturday, closed Sunday and Memorial Day.

I'm a destination location, no shops around me that would be open. Everyone will be at the beach.
We've had a few days here with 90 degree temperatures. No customers coming in at all.

We close on Sundays in July and August (open the rest of the year) and look forward to it all year. 6 more Sundays to go and can't wait! It really is rejuvenating to have an extra day off.
 
We will be open the entire time, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. We might close early on Monday if the weather is nice - around 4pm and the parking lot empty.
