This customer came to me with the four main items. The actual ball he got the hole in one with, the marker flag, score card and the group photo.
The flag is floated about a 1/4" then the photo and score card were hinged to mat and flotaed about 3/4" . The ball is attached to the tee with hot glue.
The design still needed something so I went onine and found a out line of the hole and reproduced (hand cut) it in matboard to round out the design.
Love to hear any comments or thoughts.

I love the design, it looks awesome! I've done several Hole in One shadowboxes and I find that the flag always causes problems b/c it's not quite square. Angling it like this is a good way to hide that and gives a lot more interest to the layout. What did you use to attach the flag? It looks like it is suspended :) The hole layout is also a really nice touch to balance the corners out. Nice job!

Thanks Lisa,
The flag was stiched onto a piece of mat board the attached to to pieces of 3/16 foam.
I also have run into the out of square problem. A few years ago I designed a job that was for a member guest turnament for a local golf course we had to attach 60 flags onto two different designs. (1st & 2nd place) After a while their came the realization that it could not be perfect on every one.
